Glass is both “being-in-itself” and “being-for-itself.” Its fragility, its nature as an interval, its transparency, and its reflectivity make it more like a materialized manifestation of “nothingness”: nothingness is not absolute emptiness, but rather the “transparent interval” between things, between consciousness and its object. “Nothingness” depends on existence and must reveal its negativity through existence. Glass serves as the perfect material counterpart for “revealing nothingness through existence and suggesting existence through nothingness.”

玻璃既是“自在存在”也是“自为存在”,它的脆弱性、间隔性、透明性、反射性… 更像是“虚无”的一种物质化显现: 虚无不是完全的空，而是事物之间、意识与对象之间的“透明间隔”。“虚无”依赖于存在、且必须通过存在来显示其否定性。而玻璃则是“通过存在显现虚无、通过虚无提示存在”的绝佳物质对应。
